Had performance today.
At suntec city for heritagefest.
Went to school super early today
and found the handbell room locked.
We tried to break in but to no avail.
Luckily, the uncle came to our rescue! :)
He helped us unlock the door and
we started polishing the bells.

Jeanelle went singing sorry sorry while polishing
and soon after, she and joyce started singing nobody.
Jeanelle singing the korean version and joyce singing the eng version.
Haha. Then we went to have lunch opp sch. :)
Theng Hiang joined us for lunch cos she has nothing better to do. Haha.

Oh. And iris went to suntec to support us! :)
Or should i say, laugh at us. Haha.
Anyways, she gave us starbucks to drink.
Just nice cos i was damn thirsty after screaming and running around. Haha.
And she complained that we had pies to eat
while harp ppl only got gardenia bread to eat the day before,
which is their performance. Haha.

And the stage is quite small so we had to squeeze all the tables.
And to think i'm playing bass for the last 2 songs which
are our SYF songs. and after the songs,
we had to bow. We had too little space to step back.
So tr was like, (to us bass ppl)
eh, don't need to step back to bow ah,
don't commit suicide.
Haha. Damn funny.
And tr kept taking random photos.
Esp our unglams.
Everytime when there's performance,
she'll bring her cam along,
without fail. Haha. Sighs...
SO we have to make a look out regularly.
Haha.

Damn tired when i got home.
SUper tired.
Luckily i finished all my hw yesterday.
Wanted to study a math, chem and ss.
I guess i'll just study a math tonight.
Sighs. Okay. Gotta go. Bye. :)

Attended a leadership forum yesterday.
Talks conducted by leaders in different areas.
Learnt a lot of stuff about leadership.
Hope i can apply these skills in my leadership role.

And we had dinner after the forum.
Well, i must say that it was the
best dinner i ever had in PL(sec) after 3 yrs.
Haha. Then we sang "light your world".
And this the funnest part!
We had candles and the teachers' had lighted candles.
They walked around to light our candles,
spreading the flame around,
hoping that we will be great leaders of PL.
Wow. So cheem. haha.

Anyways, i was super tired after the whole programme.
And i still needed to do lian bi when i got home.
We tried pleading lao shi to extend deadline but she tried to avoid it.
Haha. I still did it anyways.

Miss my dad. He's overseas.

Changed blogskin.

Today tr didn't come for live lesson.
But i've learnt something during the 2 hours.
this is a scary world.

I used to hear ppl say that this is a dog eat dog world.
And i finally understand the meaning of the phrase these 2 days.
Mostly it's politics.
I've realised that politics is everywhere.
Regardless of the place.
Govt, society, office and guess what, even schs.

In every CCA i guess,
when it comes to selecting the nxt batch of exco.
Suddenly, it seems that there are politics really everywhere.
Office politics and stuff...
Sighs.
I finally realised the cruelty of the world.

Everyone is fighting for what thry want.
The highest position, authority and stuff..
And in order to achieve it,
they'll do all means,
by hook or by crook.
Suck up/ curry favour,
attend meetings punctually,
do gd deeds, etc.
In the end,
some will get it while some don't.

These 2 days,
i've also learnt that things
may happen unexpectedly.
You can never predict the future.
It's always a mystery.
What we can do is just do our best,
and look forward to the next day.
